While there, he was responsible for prosecuting hundreds of criminal cases, including misdemeanor and felony drug charges, child molestation, theft, burglary, robbery, armed robbery, fraud, insurance fraud, rape and murder charges. He later served as a Federal Criminal Justice Act panel attorney, representing individuals in court-appointed federal criminal cases.
